LadySamurai is a Dutch writer with a soft heart and a pen that’s sometimes sweet, sometimes sharp. She began writing as a way to capture the wonder of childhood, creating the Half-a-Tail Tales series of nursery rhymes inspired by her love for nature and animals.

Her debut novel, The Dating (Tr)App, draws on real-life experiences in the world of dating. With honesty and humor, she tells a story that is both painfully relatable and full of banter – a glimpse into the mess and magic of looking for love, told from both protagonists’ sides.
When she’s not writing, LadySamurai loves to travel. She feels most at home in a warm jungle, wandering through new places and discovering fresh flavors along the way.

LadySamurai is a pseudonym the author chose to separate her creative work from her everyday life.
