Armentrout is a prolific New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of over 70 books, known for YA and New Adult fantasy and romance, including the popular From Blood and Ash series, which she writes under both her own name and the pseudonym J. Lynn. A hybrid author, she has both self-published and traditionally published her work. Armentrout also lives with retinitis pigmentosa, a genetic eye disorder, and works to educate others about blindness.
